GENERAL INFORMATION
The Johnson County Special Utility District (JCSUD) requests the submission of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms with respect to providing for planning, permitting, environmental, design, and construction management phase and other services as necessary, for the following project:
- Emerging Contaminants Compliance Project - The goal of this project is to develop a new reverse osmosis (RO) treatment facility to treat brackish surface water that contains emerging contaminants like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and to reduce emerging contaminants levels below current maximum contaminant limits (MCLs).
Funding for this project is anticipated to be completed through the Texas Water Development Board's (TWDB) Emerging Contaminants (EC) program, as well as through local JCSUD rate and/or capital funding. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicits information enabling JCSUD to determine the highest qualified Engineering Firm that may provide professional engineering services for the planning, design, and construction management of this proposed Emerging Contaminants compliance project under this RFQ.
